Menly ("we", "us", or "our") built the Pixora: AI Photo & Video Maker app (the "App") as an ad-supported app with optional subscriptions. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, address, or phone number to use the App. However, the App and the third-party services it uses may collect the following information:

Photos you choose: images you select in the App to generate AI photos or videos (see Section 2).
Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, and app version.
Identifiers: advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where permitted), Firebase installation IDs, and similar identifiers.
Usage data: how you interact with the App, such as styles and features used, session length, and in-app events.
Diagnostic data: crash logs and performance data used to find and fix problems.
Approximate location: coarse location inferred from your IP address, used by ad and attribution partners. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Purchase information: if you buy a subscription, payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

2. Your Photos and AI-Generated Content

The App's core feature turns photos you choose into AI-generated images and videos in the style you pick.

Only the photos you pick. The App uses the system photo picker, so it only receives the specific photos you select. It does not scan or access the rest of your gallery.
Processing on our servers. To generate a result, the photos you select are uploaded over an encrypted connection to our AI processing servers. They are used only to create the result you requested and to deliver it back to you.
No other use. We do not sell your photos, use them for advertising, share them with advertisers, or use them to identify you. We do not create biometric identifiers or facial recognition templates from your photos.
Retention. Uploaded photos and generated results are kept on our servers only as long as needed to process your request and deliver the result, and are then deleted.
Saving and sharing. Results you save are stored in your device's gallery. If you share a result with another app or service, that transfer is made by you and the receiving service's own privacy policy applies.
Your content, your responsibility. Only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, and do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

3. How We Use Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its AI photo and video features;
To improve and personalize your experience;
To analyze usage and diagnose technical issues;
To display advertisements, including personalized ads where you have consented;
To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns (attribution);
To verify purchases and deliver subscriptions;
To respond to your support requests;
To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please review their privacy policies:

5. Advertising

The App displays ads served by the partners listed above. These partners may use cookies, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance. Your photos and generated content are never used for advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time:

Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID (or "Opt out of Ads Personalization").
iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track".

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and can change their choice at any time from the App's privacy settings.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with the service providers described above to operate the App, generate your AI content, serve ads, and perform analytics; when required by law or to respond to legal process; or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Menly, our users, or others.

7. Data Retention and Security

Photos you upload are handled as described in Section 2. Other information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and we use reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information, including photos, from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
